Novel Portraits: iPhoneography Roundup #4

stay bookish - novel portraits

Novel Portraits is a weekend feature where I showcase book photography! Photography is my second most favourite hobby next to reading! A love child of the two dearest things to me- book photography is awesome and thus demands a segment on the blog. To read more about the feature, check out the introductory post for Novel Portraits.

So it’s been awhile since I did an iPhoneography roundup (exactly a year- I know, I’m very horrible at keeping up my features) and since I dropped my monthly recaps, I thought I might share what’s been happening through Instagram photos instead.

Description: One of the most memorable events of the month was the Carry On PH Launch party hosted by Pinoy Book Tours. It was fun to hang out with fellow book bloggers and Rainbow Rowell fans and meet some new people. Plus, there were awesome Carry On cupcakes, balloons, swag and fun games. I really hope we get to do more events like this locally!

  1. I’ve seen so many of those Cloud classics in Shanghai, but my favorite one would have to be the dropcap editions. Because of course, the lettering. I’ll buy them all someday from Fully Booked when there’s a giant sale happening. Someday.

And I wish there were more launches! Hopefully sometime in December/January or May-July. XD

    1. Yes the drop cap classics are absolutely gorgeous. I swear I want so many editions of classics even though I’ve never gotten around to reading them. Let’s hope someday is soon, yeah? ;)

I’ll let you know if there are any more events when you’re here in the PH!

  2. whoa! those cupcakes look yummy!
I already bought myself a copy of Carry On, but still too busy bc of school.. Ain’t got time to read at all :'(

  3. I have yet to see a Classic rebinding that I HAVEN’T LOVED. Omg, this is getting way to costly. You also take such amazing photos on your iPhone, teach me your ways! I can never get the lighting right D:!

And oooo those Carry On cupcakes look delightful! I enjoyed the book so much <3

    1. I know, right? Too bad they almost always cost twice a YA paperback. And thanks so much for your kind words, Aentee! I’m not the best person to ask when it comes to lighting too actually. So happy to hear you enjoyed Carry On though!
