The Search Is Over… The Answer Is Here

WELL HELLO, SUPER RANDOM POST.

Fact: I really like to observe the search terms that get redirected to the blog. I’m always curious where I get my views/visits from and want to know what made people check out a certain post. Checking the search terms I get per week/month helps me have a clue, somewhat. Some of the search terms I get are pretty specific (some are pretty hilarious) and I kind of wonder if the people who searched these got the answers they were looking for on my blog. So today, I’ve decided to help all those curious minds and give the answer they were searching for- with GIFs!

Search Term #1‘If you enter the MIBF can you buy any books at any booths’

You most definitely can. It’s a book fair after all. All the booths sell books.

Search Term #2‘No one understands this love’

Well, fuck what others think, right? But in case you were just searching for a quote, I don’t know what it is. I also don’t know how this led you to find my blog…

Search Term #3‘What is the song that adam sings to mia in if i stay’

You mean in this scene, right? The song Adam sings for Mia is called Heart Like Yours! It’s lovely. ♡

You can listen to it here:

Search Term #4‘MIBF 2014 what to buy’

Books, obviously! There are so many to choose from, you’ll go a little crazy. If you’re looking for which books to buy you can check out my reviews to see which ones are good!

Search Term #5‘Love story cliches that need to end’

Well, some cliches do work (love-hate, friends-to-lovers) and it really all depends with the execution. Instalove, however, definitely needs to end already. For the sake of my eyeballs. They’re tired of rolling whenever I read instalove stories.

Search Term #6‘What can i do not to sleep when reading at midnight’

Coffee works. But really, if the book you’re reading at midnight is making you sleepy, it’s probably not worth reading at midnight.

Search Term #7‘If you stay gayle forman national bookstore’

If YOU stay OMG HAHAHA!

But okay, this is the site your looking for.

Search Term #8‘Adam wilde loves ass’

How the hell did this search term arrive at my blog????

Search Term #9‘How much is since you’ve been gone in the philippines?’

It’s PHP720 at Fullybooked! You can check that out here.

Search Term #10‘Proud to be bookish’

You go, bookworm!!!!

So yep, search terms get a little crazy sometimes. How about you, fellow bloggers? What weird search terms (or search questions) have been redirected to your blog? To my readers, what things are you looking for on the internet? Maybe I can help!

  1. Haha, the “if you stay” search reminded me of a conversation I overheard between a library patron and librarian last week. A lady walked up to the desk and asked if they had a copy of “Where You Went” (or something like that). The librarian was confused at first but then she told him it was a movie and he said, “Ohhh, you mean If I Stay?” And the lady laughed and said, “Yes, that’s it!” but then proceeded to call it “Where You Went” for the remaining five minutes of their conversation, lol.

  2. Ah, this is an awesome post. I’ve definitely laughed over some of the search terms we’ve received.

    Personal faves:
“is kitty jo tobias a prostitute on back page” (Whaaa?)
“exautic titillating fiction” (Not on my blog)
“atonement sex scene” (Okay, that one is my bad)
“rainbow rowell buffy vampire slayer” (Heck yes! A girl can dream)
“in outlander who is the chracter phaedre” (Ugh, mixing books!)

  3. Ahh I love this post! Checking my search terms has become the highlight of my blogging every day, I got to admit. Sometimes they’re puzzling, and more often than not, entertaining. :)

  4. Haha I love finding strange search term. :) Sadly I’ve stopped looking at them much since Google stopped providing analytics programs with that search data. :(

    1. I know what you mean! I’d love to read more of the search terms on the blog and the ‘unknown search terms’ (which I read somewhere happened because of Google’s attempt to keep search terms more private) kills that vibe every time. I neeeeeed to find out what those unknown search terms are.

  5. I always like these kind of posts about search terms, it certainly makes you wonder how those people ended up on your blog. Although some of these make sense as well. For some reason I can’t see many search terms, most are unknown. From the last 30 days I can see only 8 search terms. Here are they:
    – guys waking train track sad quote image
    – akasha series by terra harmony goodreads en español
    – lolasystem review
    – blood debt by nancy straight summary
    – centaurs and loola
    – sunday 86
    – the.variables by shelbi wescott does.ainsley live spoilers
    – name of cover book model for victoria green and jinsey reese books
hmm some of these make sense, but espanol? I am a ducth blogger who blogs in english, although I have reviewed Terra Harmony her Akasha series, so I guess that explains it. The first one is the one which confuses me the most, how did they end up on my blog?
Which plugin do you use to view search terms?

  6. Hahaha! What a fantastic post – I’ve seen a few other blogs list their search terms, and their always fun to read. I may have to do my own one day. “Adam wilde likes ass” though. Oh my good lord. Dying of laughter over here.

  7. Haha If You Stay lol get it right bruhh, jk. Ugh, I still need to see the If I Stay movie. The book was just so sad :( I don’t look at the search thingys often so now I will!

  8. It’s always odd to see how people manage to find your blog…most of the time, the search terms make you go, “Wait…WHAT?!” It’s perplexing, it really is. But it makes for entertaining blog posts, doesn’t it? ;)
