Video Book Haul || Scholastic Warehouse Sale Unboxing

Hello, bookish people! I’ll be sharing with you today a very exciting unboxing video book haul. A few days ago, I went to the Scholastic Warehouse Sale and went crazy over their book buffet!

A book buffet is basically a promo to box-all-the-books-you-can for 799 pesos. Being the hoarder that I am, I bought a ton of books! Literally a ton of books.

So what’s inside the box?

When You Reach Me by Rebecca Stead

Emily Windsnap and the Monster from the Deep by Liz Kessler

The Fledgling by Jane Langton

Forever by Maggie Stiefvater

Keeping the Moon by Sarah Dessen

Delirium Stories by Lauren Oliver

Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys

The Summer Before Boys by Nora Raleigh Baskin

The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle by Avi

Sports Camp by Rich Wallace

Cleopatra’s Moon by Vicky Alvear Shecter

Cut by Patricia McCormick

Faith, Hope, and Ivy June by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor

Crazy by Han Nolan

Robin Hood of the Sherwood Forest by Ann McGovern

The Raven and Other Poems by Edgar Allan Poe

What We Remember What We Forget edited by David Levithan

James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl

The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton

Zac and the Dream Pirates by Ross MacKenzie

After by Amy Efaw

The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater

Everybody Sees the Ants by A.S. King

That’s it– a total of 23 books fit in the Scholastic Warehouse Sale Book Buffet box. These aren’t all the books I got so I will be writing another blog post sharing not only the rest of the books I got but also my experience at the sale, so definitely watch out!

I hope you guys liked my very first video haul even though the quality and my ability to speak in front of a camera is complete crap. I might have to hide from the internet after this disastrous book haul vlog. But yay for finally crossing off “try vlogging” on my book blogger bucket list. You know you have one too. ;)

What books did you get recently? Any tips for doing video book haul unboxings?

You never fail to inspire me with posts like this one, as well as the “fat girl” discussion post you shared before. Hazel, you’re a woman of variety, and that’s very inspiring to see, especially for someone who has a constant, but I really loved the video you shared! And this definitely made me smile. (Mainly because of the bloopers you shared at the end of the video. :D

You are sooooo adorable! Also, I really should try going to the Scholastic Book Sale one of these days!! I hope you enjoy Betweem Shades of Gray. It’s my favorite from Ruta Sepetys :)

You did a great job, Hazel! I wish I had your confidence in doing this. You were so cute. 😍

Also, I’m planning to visit the warehouse sale soon. Highly anticipating the rest of your haul and your experience during the warehouse sale. 😊

By the way, are the books for book buffet on a separate pile or we can choose from the whole area?

Whoa, looks like you got a lot of books from here! James and The Giant Peach is so good, it’s one of my favourite Dahl books! Wish I had this kind of event in Australia!
