Ah-MAY-zing Reads Twitter Party

Last friday night (Saturday morning for me and others), we celebrated all the Ah-MAY-zing Reads of Spring 2014 by having an awesome party on Twitter. #AhMAYzingReads was such a blast!!!!!!!!! It was my first time ever hosting a twitter party and I was so nervous that only a few people would come but so many book nerds were there, very much ready to have fun. Several guest authors came to party with us, namely, Paula Stokes, Kieran Scott, Kristi Helvig, Cammie McGovern, Bethany Crandell, Lindsey Leavitt! We all talked about books, shared thoughts and experiences- it was like this huge bookish slumber party with a helluva lot of awesome bookish friends!

And of course, we had giveaways! We had 8 fabulous prizes up for grabs and for every prize, I asked a question! Of course, I asked several tough (and personal) questions. *insert evil laugh* Still, everyone had super fantastic answers that made us all laugh and cry and get all the feels. I had to pick the best answer for each question which was seriously hard because all of them were really good so I picked the really good ones and used a random generator to pick a final winner. Here are some of the questions and the winning answers!

Congratulations to all of the winners!! Even though Twitter parties still continue to confuse me, I manage to have a good time. I loved seeing Bethany Crandell there. :)

I think you did an AH-MAY-ZING job hosting AH-MAY-ZING reads, Hazel! It was so fun to read all the posts that the authors shared for their books, and it definitely got me interested in a few that I hadn’t been sure I wanted to read before!
